There are several places in Vienna where you can access 3D printing services. This not only saves you the cost of buying your own printer but also helps support local maker communities:

techLAB at Technisches Museum: Museum‑run makerspace with open‑access 3D printers (free with museum ticket/annual pass)
Happylab Wien: Large makerspace with 24/7 access and multiple 3D printers; membership required but free intro tours/workshops.
Maker Austria: Large, non-profit makerspace in Vienna with public access, offering FDM and SLA 3D printers, 24/7 member access, and a strong community for collaborative projects
MetaLab: Vienna’s renowned hackerspace with 3D printers, CNC, electronics, etc.

In addition, if you have leftover filament, you can collect it and recycle it at Precious Plastic Vienna. You can drop off small quantities (up to 10 kg) at the WUK info desk (Währinger Straße 59, 1080 Vienna) during opening hours (Mon–Fri 9:00–20:00, Sat/Sun 15:00–20:00), packed in a bag or box.
